Kalle Runristare (the runecarver)
I came upon this site today while searching for something else on the web, and I am sharing it here because I not only thought it was very nice to see somebody carving runestones, but because the site is attractive, and because Kalle shares his recipe for mead. It hasn’t been updated in a while but the stones are still lovely.
Hrafnkell Haraldsson is the author of A Heathen’s Day, which since 2005 has addressed the life and thoughts of a modern day Heathen. He maintains a second blog, Digital Gods (www.digital-gods.com) which focuses on polytheism for the digital age. He is also the founder of the Mos Maiorum Foundation (www.mosmaiorum.org) which is dedicated to the study and support of Paganism as ethnic religion.
I love this! Absolutely wonderful! Thanks for sharing – on one of the pages there is indications of a 2009 update coming…suspect he's spending more time carving than riding herd on the computer – more power to Kalle!
Good! Glad to hear that. I got interrupted when the nurse arrived to begin my son's infusion so I'm happy you were able to find some evidence of continued life. I'd hate to see a project like that come to an early end.
