Funny, I saw the last paragraph as your words even with the italics. It sounded like you. The thing is, the Assembly of God, which condemns them, isn’t much better – it’s a matter of degrees more than actual differences. Alaska is the north quarter so through there evil will try to come in – they do the same thing in the city where I live – Bibles in hand.

And you’re right – the Right-wing here is all about the commie threat still – Joe McCarthy (if you’ve heard of him) is still Ann Coulter’s hero – he saved the US from the Red Menace (now embodied by Obama and the nasty old liberals.

I like the way he called to all sane people to kill (martyr) right-wing christian fanatics!..Does he have a death wish?..Oh yeah, sorry…lol…he’s got a business class ticket to the pearly gates!

As for a 2nd civil war…..for health care?! FFS! I bet the majority of Americans who don’t want it are the rich ones who refuse to subsidise the ones who could never afford health insurance.

As far as I’ve been told, we in the UK got the National Health System because soldiers returning from the battlefields of WW2 had seen that the Russians had the system in place. As the people complained so much, it was given as a kind of ‘reward’.

And that’s the other thing- the Russians had it and they were Communists…therefore, I also reckon that is another reason they don’t want it…commie ideas don’t wash well in the USA.

BUT…the only examples of communism we have today are the terrors of the old Russia, China, Vietnam, Cuba, Korea, etc. Corrupt and distorted. Far, far removed from the original ideas in the document set out by Marx and Engels.
