A Domain of it’s Own
Build it and they will come…I have had A Heathen’s Day for four years now this month. 65,000 visitors and almost 1100 posts later, I’m giving A Heathen’s Day its own domain name: aheathensday.com.
I’ve been told “alheithinn” isn’t the easiest thing to spell either, so maybe this will help.
It will take about three days for the change to occur. Meanwhile, everyone will be redirected through blogger, thanks to blogger’s partnering with GoDaddy.com.
Seemed like time had come for some permanence. I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me over the years through your comments, suggestions, and most of all for the sharing of ideas. I’ve learned a lot and hop to learn a whole lot more.
Addendum: I Have also altered the blog’s title and description in Photoshop. For the title font I used Viking-Normal and for the description, Candara.
Note: All RSS feed settings will need to be changed. Apologies for that.

I remember being amazed, Ærinndís, when my Icelandic Heathen friend started telling me how some words are pronounced – and what horrible things we Americans were doing to his language. It was embarrassing. Imagine a bunch of Heathens of old meeting up: "Olaf! To greet one!" (heilsa). "To Greet one, Erik!"
Thank you, Makarios. It is people like you who have made it an enjoyable and thought-provoking four years.
