Good article. Also, it’s an interesting read to skim through the comments (and there are a lot of them) section. Most of the arguments there are familiar and actually have next to nothing to do with the article still. The creationists vs. everyone else arguments going on can be fun for someone like me who always enjoys a good debate and just a little bit of chaos. Plus (and no surprise on a science oriented site) but christians/creationists are getting thier butts kicked.
Ulfrun, I love skimming the comments on articles. Occasionally, I chime in myself because something pisses me off but nothing is better than watching a good ass kicking delivered by scientists, particularly because so many creationists attempt to use science to support their theory, and use it badly.
What a wonderful piece! And so spot on. I just watched “Expelled” by Ben Stein and know exactly what this reviewer is talking about. All throughout that film they use the same buzz words he mentioned. If you’re into knowing the enemies of free-thought, sense and reason…watch “Expelled” because it is pure ID propaganda.
Just ask ID people, “What is your designer? Name it.” Watch them sit their with their thumbs up their arses because they can’t say “God” or their found out. They can’t say Natural Selection so…what is it? They have no answer. No answer. No theory. Anything they then have to say on it is bunk. Period. ID is BS. Pure and simple.

Yes, you should. Have a vomit bag that is. It was painful for me to sit through it but I did just so any ID people can’t say I didn’t give it a chance.
Once again it’s, question the religious right and it’s nigh to treason. If you question ID you’re un-American and Nazi-esqe according to Stein. Lemme know what you think, H. Because I’m guessing you’ll either walk away from it laughing or fuming. (:
I hope these people never get their way. They’ll have history so re-written our descendants will never know that once there was a brave band of children of the Enlightenment who broke away from state sponsored religion to establish a country free from not only political, but religious tyranny. I’ll probably fume AND laugh but since I’ll be trying to rent it I’ll have to not take it out on the DVD itself.
I honestly tried to read the comments, but I just cannot get past the semi-literate writing.
